Giulia Risaliti your wedding planner in Tuscany
LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF
I’m Giulia, and since 2008, I’ve been immersed in the fascinating world of event planning.
It’s a journey that led me to embrace a passion that has become an integral part of my life and that I’ve been able to translate into my agency, founded in 2012.
My profession is just one of the many things that make me happy: I’ve been married to Stefano since 2006 and am the proud mother of three wonderful boys: Cesare, Dante, and Amedeo. Family is my safe harbor and my source of inspiration.
My education is rooted in the humanities, a field that fascinates me because it enables us to understand the complex fabric of human relationships and provides us with an appropriate language to interpret them.
During the recent lockdown period, I had the opportunity to further enrich my cultural background by enrolling at the University of Florence.
On December 6, 2022, I graduated with honors in “Humanities for Communication Sciences.” My thesis focused on John Dewey, an American pragmatist philosopher advocating for active participation in experience as an essential factor in individual evolution. It was a study path that enriched my worldview and found a surprising correspondence with my daily work in the events industry.
Currently, I’m pursuing further studies in philosophy through a post-graduate course in “Philosophical Practice” at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Florence. This path offers me new tools and perspectives that seamlessly integrate my passion for event planning with a deeper understanding of human and philosophical dynamics. I’m excited to share this part of my journey with you and to put not only my practical experience but also my ongoing quest for knowledge and innovation at your service.
I’m here to turn every event into a meaningful and unforgettable experience. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special moments.
MY STORY.
I was born and live in beautiful Tuscany, a land that I carry in my heart and consider my refuge. When I was still very young I met Stefano, who became my husband in 2006, and together we created a large and decidedly noisy family… 3 children impose ever different challenges on me and very little rest! But their vitality is mine too.
I love reading, especially essays on linguistics and philosophy; I often go to the theatre. living near Florence, where we have some of the best theaters in the world, is wonderful!
I share a passion for travel with my family: the mountains, in particular the Dolomites, have a special place in our hearts and have become our second home. Stefano and I have a scout background, an experience that has taught us to deeply love nature and has imprinted in us the desire to always return to its wonders. Hiking in the mountains is for us a precious opportunity to savor the authenticity of natural environments, the challenge of a climb and the pleasure of resting in silence. It is a love that we have joyfully passed on to our children, and for this reason it is not uncommon for us to organize trips to the mountains together, creating unforgettable memories.
Another passion we share is that for good food. Our kids appreciate good food in all its forms, both the more traditional Tuscan and the ethnic or Asian one.
Stefano and I often indulge in a few more special dates, exploring starred restaurants or organizing tastings at wineries that produce special wines and oils. Personally, I have reached the first level of Fisar Sommelier and am about to begin the second. These experiences are not only moments of pleasure together with the people I love, but also valuable opportunities to consolidate my wine and food skills so that I can always offer more accurate and detailed advice to my wedding couples.
My family is my greatest source of joy and inspiration, as well as the environment that requires me the most effort; but I am grateful every day for what I experience, and without them many things in my life would be decidedly different.
My values
Mutual trust is the beating heart of all my professional relationships. When a married couple chooses to rely on me for the organization of their wedding, a powerful vortex of positive energy is created: here the choices are transformed into joyful realizations and the collaborations become a source of inspiration.
For me, trust is the driving force of every project. When clients and professionals trust each other, fertile ground is created for the creation of lucky choices and for the construction of solid and long-lasting relationships. It is precisely this mutual trust that allows us to overcome challenges and transform every wedding into a unique and unforgettable experience.
The values of honesty, correctness and loyalty guide my every step. I believe that any relationship, even professional, based on these principles is extremely profitable and enriching for all parties involved. Honesty in facing challenges, correctness in dealing with customers and collaborators and loyalty in committing oneself to the maximum for the success of the project are essential elements for the result to be optimal.
Only through authentic and sincere collaboration will you be able to achieve maximum success and realize the wedding of your dreams.
HOW I STARTED
My professional path has deep roots that go back to 2003, when I was still a student in the Bachelor of Arts in History and Artistic Heritage Protection. It was at that time that I started working in a small favor store in my hometown. Here I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of details, a characteristic that would shape my professional path for years to come. Choosing the finest fabrics, coordinating with skilled artisans for embroidery, and selecting high-quality ribbons and confections have become an integral part of my daily life for a good four years, leaving an indelible imprint on my education.
In 2007, I began working with a catering company, an experience that proved to be crucial to my professional growth. Working alongside experienced wedding planners has allowed me to learn the secrets of the trade and internalize best practices in the industry. It was an intense learning period that laid the foundation for my professional identity.
2009 was a significant year, as I had the opportunity to help organize the wedding of Joseph Fiennes, a well-known English actor and brother of Ralph Fiennes, famous for his role in “Shakespeare in Love.” This experience was my first immersion into the world of high-profile events and confirmed my passion and talent for wedding planning.
It was in 2012 that I decided to start my own company here in Tuscany. Every year since then, I have had the privilege of accompanying couples with unique stories and desires, exploring different and fascinating worlds.
This work has allowed me to grow steadily, both personally and professionally, enriching me with new experiences and knowledge with each wedding I have had the pleasure of planning.
I have had the opportunity to curate numerous major corporate events throughout my career, but one experience that left an indelible impression was my participation in the Formula One Grand Prix in Monte Carlo.
During this prestigious event, I had the privilege of working alongside the Ferrari team, coordinating and curating a series of exclusive and unforgettable events. Collaborating with one of the most iconic brands in the world has been an exciting and rewarding experience.
Working in Monte Carlo during the Formula One Grand Prix was a unique opportunity, and I had the pleasure of collaborating with star chefs and artists from all over the world to create extraordinary events that reflected Ferrari’s excellence and spirit of innovation.
This experience has enriched me professionally and personally, solidifying my reputation in the high-end corporate events industry and giving me the opportunity to work with some of the most creative and talented minds in the industry. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing to curate unforgettable events for my clients.
